Confluence Architecture is excited to be part of the design team for Carbondale’s luxury hotel & distillery, Marble Distilling Co. & Distillery Inn.  Working in conjunction with Energy and Sustainable Design, Confluence designed a 7000 sf eco distillery and luxury inn on Main Street in Carbondale. The project is an interesting mix of high end design on constrained budget and highly technical coordination of building and distilling systems.  The distillery is using cutting edge heat capture technology to strip heat used in distilling process for building heat and process pre-heat.  Heat capture replaces much of the water cooling of product during distilling process saving 4.1 million gallons of water each year.
