Confluence Architecture in partnership with Energy Efficiency Solutions (EES) designed and executed air sealing work at the Third Street Center. This 1970’s era shuttered elementary school was recently remodeled and reopened at a Non-Profit Center. Check out the great work they do here. The work focused on the rim board area of the building where roof joists met the wall. This joint was never properly sealed and the remodel with removed ceiling tiles has exacerbated comfort issues from air leaks. Before and after photos below.
